- 350 grams Smoked mackerel (without skin)
- 1 Tbsp Caper
- ½ lemon
- 2 tsps Horseradish (from a jar)
- 150 grams Crème fraiche
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- For serving
- Oatmeal Cookies (as desired)
- scallions

Preparation steps
1.
Pick the fish apart with a fork and finely crush in a bowl. Drain the capers well and chop. Run the lemon in hot water and zest a little peel. Mix together with capers, horseradish and crème fraîche with the fish. Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
2.
Serve on crackers and garnish with chives.
