Sautéed Broccoli with Garlic

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan or saute pan set over a moderate heat until hot.
Add the garlic, saute for 1 minute, and then add the broccoli. Continue to cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook over a reduced heat for 3 - 4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
Add the spinach and cook, uncovered, until wilted; 1 minute.
Season to taste with crushed red pepper and salt. Serve on a platter.
