1 kilogram waxy potatoes

1 Cinnamon stick
1 garlic clove
3 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F). Rinse the potatoes, pat dry and cut into large pieces. Mix the potatoes, rosemary, cinnamon, garlic (unpeeled and uncrushed) and oil. Season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

Quickly saute the potatoes in a cast iron frying pan and place the pan in the preheated oven. Cook for about 20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender, turning occasionally. Remove the cinnamon stick and serve.
