1 Pork tenderloin (800 grams) (approximately 28 ounces)
salt

2 Tbsps vegetable oil
150 grams Poppy seeds

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Rinse the pork, pat dry and trim any sinew. Generously season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil over high heat, sear the pork for 5-6 minutes per side then remove from the pan. Roll in the poppy seeds, firmly pressing the poppy seeds into the pork. Place on a wire rack set inside of a roasting pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Cut into 1 cm thick slices (approximately 1/3 inch) and serve.
