Nutritional values

Abstaining from alcohol has numerous advantages: Not only are you spared the typical headache the next morning, but also digestive problems, as no excess stomach acid can form and the mucous membrane can recover. Our liver experiences the greatest benefit. This is because the detoxification organ is enabled to regenerate and take care of its proper tasks. Even with a short period of abstinence, the heartbeat normalizes and the fluid balance comes back into tact. You feel better all around as well as fitter. Our weight also benefits, because fewer calories are consumed without alcohol. In addition, high alcohol strongly slows down the burning of fat.

At the next garden party, the Peach Thyme Cooler makes a great punch bowl in a large container. For a vegan version, simply replace the honey with agave syrup. If you like, you can also try rosemary instead of thyme. The herb also fits very well in terms of taste.
