- 2 cans Tuna (each about 140 g)
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 bunch Basil
- 30 grams Walnut
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Lime
- 6 Tbsps olive oil
- 6 Tbsps Vegetable broth
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 500 grams Garganelli (or penne)
- Fresh herbs (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Drain the tuna. Rinse the parsley and basil, shake dry and chop coarsely. Coarsely chop the walnuts. Peel and coarsely chop the garlic. Rinse the lime under hot water, wipe dry and grate zest. Squeeze the juice. Place 1/3 of the tuna in a blender along with the parsley, basil, walnuts, garlic, lime zest and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the garganelli in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain. Flake the remaining tuna. Toss the garganelli with the flaked tuna and tuna pesto. Serve garnished with fresh herbs.
