Nutritional values

With the hunter's stew with minced meat, mushrooms, and potatoes you push your immune system, because white cabbage is rich in zinc. In addition, the winter vegetables are an excellent source of fiber, which strengthens the intestinal flora and thus creates a super condition for an intact defense.

If the hunter's stew with minced meat, mushrooms and potatoes is not enough to satisfy your appetite, we recommend a high-fiber whole-grain roll to go with it.

Preparation steps

Peel, wash and halve potatoes or cut into wedges. Clean white cabbage, cut out stalk, and cut leaves into squares of about 1-inch. Clean mushrooms and halve, quarter, or slice depending on size.

In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Sauté mushrooms in it over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Then remove and set aside. Heat remaining oil in pot. Fry minced meat in it over medium heat for 8 minutes until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Add white cabbage, season with 1 pinch of piment d'Espelette and fry for 3-4 minutes.

Add potatoes, marjoram and bay leaves to the pot, pour in broth and simmer everything for about 15 minutes at low heat. Add mushrooms again and simmer for another 3-5 minutes.

Meanwhile, wash parsley, shake dry and chop. Remove bay leaf from stew and stir in vinegar. Season hunter's stew with salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
