Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and drain the pineapple slices well. Cook the toast in a toaster until golden brown, or in the oven at 200°C (approximately 400ºF) for about 5 minutes.

Spread each slice of toast with butter and top with ham. Lay a slice of pineapple on top and dust with curry powder. Cover with a slice of cheese and place on a lined baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400ºF) for 10 -15 minutes.

2.

Meanwhile, carefully peel the oranges with a sharp knife, removing the pith. Cut each orange into 8 slices. Rinse and trim the lettuce and shake dry. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces. Rinse the tomatoes, remove the stems and cut into 4 slices.

Arrange the toast in the middle of a preheated plate and add a tablespoon of lingonberries to the center of each.

Decorate the plate with lettuce, oranges and sliced tomato and serve the toast hot.

Keep the remaining slices of toast warm at 80°C (approximately 175ºF) in the oven.
