- 4 Chicken legs (trimmed)
- 4 shallots (halved)
- 3 cups new potatoes (halved)
- 0.333 cup olive oil
- ⅔ cup sweet Chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp white Sesame seeds
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

This recipe works equally well with chicken thighs.
Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 190°C (170° fan)|375F|gas 5.
2.
Toss the chicken, shallots, and potatoes with the olive oil and seasoning in a large roasting tray.
3.
Cover the tray with a sheet of aluminium foil and roast in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil after 30 minutes and spoon over the chilli sauce, stirring well.
4.
Roast for a further 20 - 25 minutes until glazed before serving with a garnish of sesame seeds.
