For the dough
50 grams Pastry flour
175 grams cornstarch
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp vegetable oil
100 milliliters water
1 egg white
Additional Ingredients
600 grams Banana
2 Tbsps lemon juice
4 slices canned Pineapple
1 ½ liters vegetable oil (for frying)
100 grams honey
3 Tbsps Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

1.

For the dough, mix together the flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, oil, water and egg white. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes. 

2.

For the filling, peel the banana, cut it into bite-size pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Pat dry the pineapple slices and cut into pieces.

3.

Heat the oil in a wok or deep fryer to 170°C (approximately 350°F).

4.

Wrap pieces of the fruit in the dough and fry each for 3-5 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel.

Heat the honey slightly.

5.

To serve, arrange the dumplings on plates. Drizzle with a little honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
