1 kilogram waxy potatoes
1 tsp sweet ground paprika
1 tsp Granulated garlic
1 Tbsp salt
½ tsp freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Rinse the potatoes and peel thoroughly. Cut into 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) in diameter matchsticks, then rinse with cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel. Mix the paprika, salt, and pepper.

Heat the oil in a saucepan to 165°C (approximately 330°F). The oil is hot enough that bubbles rise to the surface when you insert a wooden spoon. Add the potatoes to the oil, in batches. Cook until the potatoes are soft, but haven't colored whatsoever. Remove the potatoes from the oil. Increase the temperature of the oil to 190°C (approximately 375°F). Fry the potatoes again for 2 minutes, until they are crisp and golden brown. Remove from the oil, drain well, then sprinkle with the seasoned salt. Serve the fries with ketchup or tomato salsa.
