Heat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan) 425°F gas 7.

Drizzle the oil into a 12 hole bun tin and heat in the oven for 5 minutes.

Sift the flour into a bowl with the salt. Mix the water with the egg and add to the flour. Mix to a smooth batter and stir in the milk.
4.
Take the tin out of the oven and divide the batter evenly between the tins.
5.
Bake the puddings for 15-20 minutes until risen and golden brown.
