8 ozs Pastry flour
2 ½ tsps Baking powder
1 tsp ground ginger
2 ozs softened butter
3 Tbsps sugar
3 Tbsps milk

Preparation steps

1.

Cut pumpkin flesh into cubes. Boil in cold water in a covered pot and simmer about 10 minutes, then drain. Mash pumpkin flesh with a potato masher and drain again.

To pumpkin add flour with baking powder, ginger, sugar, butter in small pieces and milk. Knead until the dough holds together well, then roll out to 3/4 inch thick, cut out round forms (approximately 2 1/2 inches), brush with milk and bake in hot oven (400°F) for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
