3 black peppercorns
1 Cinnamon stick
2 cloves
1 Star anise
2 teaspoons black Tea (such as Assam)
400 milliliters milk
2 tablespoons honey (plus more to taste)
Ground cinnamon (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Crush the cardamom and remove the seeds. Bring the peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cardamom seeds, cloves, star anise, and 300 ml (approximately 10 ounces) of water to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the tea, and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain the tea, and pour into glasses. Heat the milk with the honey, and divide amongst the glasses. Dust with the cinnamon, and serve.
