Broccoli, Potato and Ham Casserole
Peel the potatoes, rinse and cook in salt water for about 25 minutes. Drain and let cool.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Sweat in hot oil until translucent. Add the broccoli and saute briefly. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Slice the potatoes into 1 cm thick slices. Cut the ham into 1 cm strips.
Mix the cream cheese, eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Alternately layer the potatoes, ham and broccoli in a greased baking dish. Season each layer lightly with salt and pepper. Pour the cheese sauce over the casserole. Bake for about 35-45 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
