1 Peel the potatoes, rinse and cook in salt water for about 25 minutes. Drain and let cool.
2 Peel and finely chop the onion. Sweat in hot oil until translucent. Add the broccoli and saute briefly. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
3 Slice the potatoes into 1 cm thick slices. Cut the ham into 1 cm strips.
4 Mix the cream cheese, eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Alternately layer the potatoes, ham and broccoli in a greased baking dish. Season each layer lightly with salt and pepper. Pour the cheese sauce over the casserole. Bake for about 35-45 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
