Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°). Rinse chicken, pat dry and cut into 6-8 parts. Rinse oranges under hot water, pat dry and cut 1 orange into wedges. Peel second orange with a sharp knife and squeeze juice from orange. Peel garlic. Rinse rosemary, shake dry and remove needles from half of sprigs. Mix rosemary needles, orange zest, garlic and finely chopped pepperoncini together in a bowl. Season with about 1 teaspoon salt and rub chicken pieces with the rosemary mixture. Grease a baking dish with oil, add chicken to the dish and pour orange juice over chicken. Place orange wedges between chicken pieces and sprinkle everything with oil. Season with freshly ground pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes (depending on the thickness of chicken pieces, baking may take longer). Serve immediately garnished with reserved fresh rosemary sprigs.
