1 roll Puff pastry dough (Refrigerated, 275 grams)
2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
150 grams grated Hard cheese (such as Emmentaler, Bergkäse)
150 grams Smoked bacon

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Thaw the puff pastry. Brush with a thin coat of the crème fraîche, leaving the edges about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) uncovered.

Sprinkle with the cheese. Cut the bacon into small cubes and distribute it on the pastry. Season with a little salt, pepper and caraway seeds. Roll the pastry tightly from the wide side. With a sharp knife, cut roll into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) slices and place these on the baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes until crispy. Serve warm or cool, such as a snack to enjoy with a good beer.
