Yogurt Parfaits with Mandarin Oranges

This yoghurt is nutritious and versatile! One portion provides plenty of calcium, which builds up bones and keeps teeth stable. This is especially important in childhood and youth. Because a good supply of calcium ensures optimal bone development and prevents osteoporosis in old age.
For more crunch you can add coarsely chopped walnut kernels to the cookie crumbs. The nuts are particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for healthy brain development and strengthen memory and concentration.

- 4 Mandarin orange
- 8 Shortbread
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 4 Tbsps Apple juice
- 500 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat) (to taste, with coconut flavor)
- 2 Tbsps Shredded coconut
- For the orange garnish
- Mandarin orange
- Shredded coconut
- Raspberries
- Cape gooseberries
- mint
Preparation steps
For the yogurt parfaits, peel oranges, separate into segments and chop. Crumble shortbread and mix with the orange pieces, honey and apple juice. Divide between 4 glasses. Then add the yogurt. Sprinkle with coconut.
For the orange garnish, create funny faces on Mandarin pieces with gooseberries, raspberries, coconut and mint (adhering with toothpicks) and place on the yogurt parfaits.
