300 centiliters water
400 grams carrots
1 Tbsp Curry
1 yellow Bell pepper
1 onion
fresh mint
500 grams Quark
200 milliliters Whipped cream
3 eggs
100 grams Pastry flour
120 grams Semolina flour

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse spelt and soak in water for at least 6 hours.

2.

Combine quark, eggs, flour, semolina and salt, to taste, and let rest for 30 minutes.

3.

Rinse and dice peppers and carrots. Peel onion and slice into rings.

4.

Heat some butter in a pan and sauté onions. Add carrots and peppers and season with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes.

5.

Heat some butter in a pan, add spelt and a little spring water. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes.

6.

Form dumplings from dough and cook in boiling water for 12 minutes. Remove and drain. 

7.

Add cream to vegetables, stir in curry and seasoning, if necessary. Plate vegetables, dumplings and spelt, then serve.
