1 Red chili pepper
1 onion
2 Tbsps olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp Tomato paste
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water for a few seconds. Peel the tomatoes, cut into quarters, remove the core, and finely dice. 

2.

Rinse the chili and halve lengthwise. Remove the seeds and finely dice. 

3.

Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat the oil in a pan, and sauté the onion and the chili. Peel the garlic and pass through a press into the pan. Sauté briefly, then add the tomato paste and the diced tomatoes. Cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
