Preparation steps

1.

Cook pasta according to package information in salted boiling water until al dente. Carefully peel orange with a sharp knife, removing white skin. Cut fillets to separate from the membranes and squeeze out the juice from the orange. Pour juice with half of sugar and 2 tablespoons oil into a pan and let caramelise slightly, mix with chopped orange segments into well drained noodles. Beat eggs with remaining sugar until frothy, mix in quark and season with salt and pepper then add to noodle mixture.

2.

Grease baking dish with remaining oil, pour in noodle mixture and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) about 50 minutes. Bake until the surface is light brown. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
