600 grams Beefsteak tomato
2 fresh spicy chili peppers
1 small onion
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
1 garlic clove
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Remove the tomatoes from the water and peel. Coarsely chop the tomatoes. Rinse and halve the chils. Remove the seeds and finely dice. Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat the oil in a pan, and sauté the onion until soft. Peel the garlic and pass through a press into the pan.

Mix in the tomatoes and chili. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and let cool. Serve the salsa cold.
