- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 red chili peppers
- 50 milliliters apple cider vinegar
- 3 Tbsps honey
- 1 stalk cinnamon
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cloves
- salt
- peppers
- Tortilla chip (finished product)

Preparation steps

Blanch tomatoes, peel, cut in half, remove the seeds and finely dice. Peel onions and garlic and finely chop. Halve the chile, remove the seeds, rinse and finely chop. Boil all together with half the tomatoes, honey, cinnamon, bay leaf and cloves. Leave over low heat for 45 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and cloves from the sauce. Add the extra diced tomatoes and let simmer again for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, Pour into jars and let it sit overnight.

Serve with chips.
