12 King prawn (ready to cook)
2 fresh garlic cloves
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
2 Tbsps Lime juice
150 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
1 Tbsp Tandoori masala seasoning
250 grams Basmati rice
3 Kaffir lime leaves

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the shrimp and pat dry. Peel the garlic and squeeze into a bowl. Stir in the ginger, lime juice, yogurt and tandoori masala. Add the shrimp and stir; cover and marinate about 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Rinse the rice in a sieve and cook with kaffir lime leaves in bamboo steamer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Remove the shrimp from the marinade, thread onto wooden skewers as desired and cook on the hot grill (or grill pan) for 3-4 minutes. Occasionally brush with the marinade. Season with salt just before serving. Arrange shrimp on plates with one dollop of yogurt and sprinkle with a little curry powder. Serve with the rice.
