500 grams King prawn (ready to cook, peeled and deveined)
1 red chili pepper
2 garlic cloves
2 centimeters fresh ginger
3 Tbsps light sesame oil
300 grams Basmati rice
salt
200 grams Snow peas
light soy sauce
cilantro (for garnishing)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse prawns and pat dry. Rinse and dry chile pepper, halve and remove seeds, chop finely. Peel and chop finely garlic and ginger. Combine all ingredients, drizzle with oil, cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Rinse rice in a sieve, combine with two parts of water, season with salt and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.

Rinse snow peas and blanch for 2-3 minutes in salted water. Drain well.

4.

Heat oil in a pan or wok and saute prawns for 1-2 minutes, stirring. Add snow peas and season with soy sauce.

5.

Arrange rice on plates, top with prawns and garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve.
