Nutritional values
Figs and honey provide quickly available energy due to the fruit sweetener they contain - so they are ideal for surviving a performance low in the afternoon.
Tea is also a mild stimulant. Sesame seeds and milk are rich in calcium and are needed especially at a young age for bone formation.

Preparation steps
Bring cardamom and clove to a boil with 200 ml (approximately 3/4 cup) of water in a small pot. Add tea leaves, honey and milk. Boil again and then cook over low heat for 4 minutes.
Meanwhile, rinse fig, pat dry, remove the stem and cut into large pieces.
Place in a bowl with 1 pinch of cinnamon. Puree or mash finely with a fork or an immersion blender.
Toast sesame seeds in a small frying pan until golden brown. Place on a small plate and let cool.
Pour the spiced tea through a tea strainer into a glass or cup. Brush bread with fig mixture, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with the tea.
