- 2 onions
- 600 grams Pork
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground Turmeric
- ½ tsp Cumin
- 4 cloves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 250 milliliters Beef broth
- 250 milliliters Coconut milk (unsweetened, canned)
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- cilantro (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Peel onions, halve and cut into strips. Rinse the meat, pat dry and cut into strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the meat and cook until browned. Stir in the onions, garlic, turmeric, cumin, cloves, cinnamon and ginger and saute 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with the broth and coconut milk and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally until the pork is tender, about 30 minutes.

Season with salt and cayenne pepper to taste and serve garnished with cilantro.

If desired, serve with flatbread.
