½ handful Sage
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
2 Tbsps Apple syrup
20 grams Pumpkin seed (shelled)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 180-200°C (350 to 400°F).

Rinse, quarter, core and thinly slice apples. Brush apple slices with lemon juice. Rinse sage, shake dry and strip leaves from stems. Mix oil with apple syrup and pumpkin seeds, season well with salt and pepper and pour in a roasting pan. Place coiled sausages, apple slices and sage in pan and roast about 30 minutes, turning sausages once halfway through baking time. Divide sausages and apple slices among plates with pan sauce. Serve with pumpkin puree, if desired.
