- 250 grams Long grain rice
- salt
- 400 grams Plum tomato
- 1 big yellow paprika
- 2 stalks Celery
- 2 Tbsps scallions
- peppers
- Tabasco sauce
- ground paprika
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 500 grams mixed Ground meat

Preparation steps

Scald and peel tomatoes and cut into quarters. Peel the pepper with a vegetable peeler, cut in half, remove seeds, and cut into bite-size strips. Rinse celery and cut into 1-cm- (1/2-inch-) wide pieces. Peel and very finely chop the shallot and garlic.

Cook the rice in salted water according to package directions. Sauté garlic and shallots in oil. Then add the peppers and sauté. Add the ground meat, stirring a little while cooking, so that the meat coalesces into small clumps. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the tomatoes and celery and sauté. Mix cooked rice into the meat pan. Sprinkle with chopped chives to serve.
