- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 400 grams mixed Ground meat
- 250 grams Long grain rice
- 800 grams peeled Tomatoes (canned)
- 200 milliliters Vegetable broth
- salt
- peppers
- fresh thyme (chopped)
- fresh oregano (chopped)

Preparation steps
1.
Peel and chop onion and garlic clove. Heat oil in a pan and saute.
2.
Add ground meat and saute on medium heat, breaking with a fork, until meat is browned and crumbled.
3.
Add rice to ground meat. Add tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
4.
Add herbs. Simmer for about 15 minutes on medium heat. Add broth if necessary. Stir occasionally.
5.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
