700 grams waxy potatoes
1 egg
1 Tbsp cornstarch
salt
freshly ground peppers
Nutmeg
3 Tbsps vegetable oil
150 milliliters Whipped cream
1 pc Horseradish (about 2 cm)
1 splash lemon juice
250 grams Smoked salmon (sliced)
Dill (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the potatoes, rinse and coarsely grate. Squeeze in a towel. Mix potatoes with the egg and the cornstarch and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

In a pan, heat the oil and scoop small portions of the potato mixture with a tablespoon. Put into the pan, flatten and fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3.

Beat cream until stiff and fold in the horseradish. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

4.

Arrange rosti on plates and top with the smoked salmon. Serve garnished with a dollop of the horseradish cream and a sprig of dill.
