Preparation steps

1.

Rinse ribs and pat dry. Season with salt. Heat butter in a roasting pan and brown meat on all sides. Peel and chop onion, add to the pan and saute briefly. Add about 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water, plums, bay leaf, pepper and sugar. Simmer, covered, for about 1 hour. Add more water to the pan as needed.

Peel, rinse and slice potatoes. Cook in salted water for about 15 minutes.

Add cream and cornstarch to the meat and simmer briefly. Season with salt and soy sauce to taste and arrange meat with sauce on plates. Drain potatoes and add to ribs. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

4.

If desired, serve with cucumber salad.
