6 sheets white gelatin
1 Vanilla bean
500 milliliters Whipped cream
80 grams sugar
300 grams Strawberries
2 Tbsps slivered almonds

Preparation steps

Soften the gelatine in cold water. Cut The vanilla pod cut lengthwise and bring to a boil with the cream and 60 g (approximately 2 ounces) sugar. Squeeze out the gelatin. Remove the cream mixture from the heat and stir in the gelatine. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes and  then remove the vanilla pod.

Rinse, pat dry, and thinly slice the strawberries and divide into four glasses. Top with the vanilla cream and chill for at least 4 hours, covered.

Dry roast the sliced almonds until golden brown and fragrant. Garnish the panna cotta with them before serving.
