Ingredients
600 grams Sweet cherry
400 grams Kumquat
1 kilogram jam sugar (1:1)
Juice (of 1 lemon)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and stone the cherries. Rinse the kumquats in hot water, remove the stems, and thinly slice. Weigh the cherries and kumquats. You should have 1 kg (approximately 35 ounces) of fruit. Mix with the lemon juice and the jam sugar.

2.

Set aside and let marinate for 2 hours. Bring to a boil slowly, stirring constantly. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jam begins to thicken.

3.

Fill the prepared jars with the jam. Seal tightly and turn upside down to cool for 10 minutes. Turn right side up and cool completely.
