Preparation steps

1.

For the dough, knead the flour, butter, quark, salt and pepper into a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic and chill for about 30 minutes.

2.

For the filling, peel and slice the kohlrabi. Blanch in boiling salt water for 5 minutes and drain well.

3.

Mix the quark, creme fraiche, eggs and parmesan. Season well with salt and pepper. Stir in the chives.

4.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface. Line a buttered tart tin with the dough, forming an edge. Spread the kohlrabi slices on the dough. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Pour the quark mixture on the tart and sprinkle with almonds. Bake for about 40 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
