This starter or light main course provides a lot of protein from the turkey and nutrients such as lycopene from the tomatoes, with very few calories. 

You can always substitue chicken or even red meat (higher in calories) for the turkey.

22 ounces turkey breasts
2 ounces Cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt
12 Wooden skewers

Preparation steps

1.

Soak skewers in water for about 30-minutes.

2.

Rinse turkey breast, pat dry and cut into cubes.

3.

Rinse tomatoes.

4.

Mix honey with lemon juice and oil and season with salt.

5.

Alternately thread turkey and tomatoes on skewers and cook on the preheated grill, turning occasionally and brushing with the marinade, 6-8 minutes. Serve hot.
