- For the potatoes
- 4 Sweet potato
- 1 tsp very finely chopped, red chili peppers
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- For the steaks
- 2 large Steak (such as rib eye steak, each about 250-300 grams)

Preparation steps

For the pototoes: scrub potatoes and cut lengthwise into wedges. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Blanch, rinse in cold water and drain again.

Whisk oil with chile pepper, salt and pepper. Arrange potato wedges on a baking sheet and toss witl oil mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 250°C (approximately 475°F) or under a hot broiler for about 5 minutes, watching carefully. Turn over and bake for another 5 minutes.

For the steaks: rinse and pat dry steaks, season with pepper and drizzle with oil, cook on a hot grill for about 3-5 minutes per side. Season with salt and let rest briefly. Arrange steaks and potatoes on plates and serve.
