- For the sweet potatoes
- 4 large Sweet potato
- 1 tsp Red chili peppers (very finely chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- For the steaks
- 2 large Steak (such as rib eye steaks, about 250-300 grams)

Preparation steps
1.
For the sweet potatoes: Rinse potatoes under running water and scrub. Cut lengthwise into wedges. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water, about 5 minutes. Rinse and drain.

Mix oil with chile pepper and season with salt and pepper. Place sweet potato wedges on a baking sheet and drizzle with the chile oil. Bake in an oven preheated to 250° (475°F) or broil on the second rack, watching carefully, about 5 minutes. Turn potatoes and bake 5 minutes more.

To make steaks: Season steaks with pepper, brush with oil and place on a hot grill. Grill 3-5 minutes per side (depending on the preferred degree of doneness). Serve steaks with sweet potatoes.
