- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup caster sugar
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg (beaten)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup plain flour
- 2 cups porridge oats
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- To finish
- 2 ¾ cups porridge oats
- 15 Walnut (halved)

1 Bowl, 1 Whisk, 1 Sieve, 1 Immersion blender, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 3 gefrierfeste Bowls oder Gefrierdosen (à ca. 500 ml), 1 kleiner ice cream scoop, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Plastic wrap
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 190C,375F, gas 5. Grease a large baking tray.

Cream the butter and sugars until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until mixed.
3.
Add the flour, oats, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and mix well.
4.
Take a teaspoon or tablespoon at a time and roll into balls. Roll the balls in the porridge oats and top each with a walnut half.
5.
Place about 5cm|2 inches apart on the baking tray. Press down lightly with a spatula.
6.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Lift off the tray carefully and cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
