- 1 Red chili pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 600 grams mixed Ground meat
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 Tbsp Tomato paste
- 700 milliliters Beef broth
- 1 can Kidney beans (about 400 grams)
- 4 Tbsps Crème fraiche
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 2 Tbsps onions
- 1 Tbsp Shredded cheese (such as Gauda)

Preparation steps

Rinse chile pepper and halve, remove seeds and ribs and chop finely. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion, garlic and chile pepper until soft. Add ground meat and saute until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper, add tomato paste and saute briefly. Add wine and broth and simmer for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.

Rinse beans in a sieve, drain well and combine with meat mixture. Season to taste and place into bowls. Whisk creme fraiche with milk and place dollops of cream on top of each serving. Sprinkle with cheese and shredded onion. If desired, serve with cornbread.
