100 milliliters Teriyaki sauce (available at Asian markets)
4 Kiwi
2 Tbsps honey
2 Tbsps Basil (chopped)
1 garlic clove
1 onion
3 Tbsps Fruit Vinegar

Preparation steps

1.

Cut chicken lengthwise into 3/4-inch thick strips.

Halve chiles lengthwise, remove seeds and ribs, and finely chop.

Peel garlic and press through a garlic press. Combine garlic with chiles, ginger, and teriyaki sauce. Pour marinade over chicken and let marinate about 1 hour.

Peel and finely chop onion.

Peel and chop kiwis. Peel garlic and press through a garlic press. Add garlic to kiwis, along with onion, vinegar, honey, and basil. Season with salt.

Thread chicken strips onto wooden skewers and cook on the grill or in a pan.

Serve chicken satay with rice and kiwi salsa.
