Preparation steps

1.

Brush chicken drimsticks with melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Place in a small roasting pan and bake in preheated oven at 190°C (approximately 375°F) for 40 minutes.

2.

Rinse beans, trim and cook in heavily salted, boiling water for about 10 minutes. Drain, rinse immediately in cold water and drain again.

3.

Husk corn cobs, rinse and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain and cut cobs into thick slices.

4.

Peel potatoes, rinse and cook in salted water for about 25 minutes. Drain potatoes and mash with a potato masher along with the cream and 3 tablespoons butter. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Keep warm.

5.

Just before serving, toss corn and beans in succession in 1 tablespoon melted butter each in a pan over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the finished chicken drumsticks with potatoes, beans and corn.
