1 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups Long grain rice (rinsed and drained)

Preparation steps

1.
Bring the water to a boil on medium heat with salt and oil. Add the rice to the boiling water and stir. Cook uncovered, stirring constantly.
2.
When all of the water has evaporated, stir again, place a piece of aluminum foil over the rice inside the pot, covering the rice well; place the lid on the pot. Turn down heat to low; let cook for 20 minutes. Uncover and stir, from the bottom. It the rice is not tender, cook an additional 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
