750 grams Beef
2 onions
1 garlic clove
1 large, red Bell pepper
3 Tbsps clarified butter
1 Tbsp sweet ground paprika
250 milliliters Beef broth
400 grams ripe Tomatoes
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 bay leaf
½ tsp hot ground paprika
2 Tbsps Tomato paste
1 tsp dried marjoram

Preparation steps

Heat the butter in a pot. Sear the beef in batches until golden.

Peel the onions and chop into large pieces. Peel and press the garlic through a garlic press. Rinse the bell pepper, cut in half lengthwsie, remove seeds and ribs, and cut into cubes.

Add the onions to the beef and cook until translucent. Add the sweet paprika and cook until fragrant. Stir in the broth.

Blanch the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water for a few seconds, Remove with a slotted spoon, peel, core and dice.

Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, marjoram, bay leaf, garlic and bell pepper to the beef mixture. Simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours. If necessary, add water to form a creamy sauce. Season with salt and hot paprika to taste.
