Preparation steps

1.

Halve lemon and squeeze into a bowl with about 1 liter (approximately 4 1/4 cups) of water.

2.

Remove the stems of the artichokes and the coarse outer leaves.

3.

Cut off the bottoms and scrape out the "straw" with the help of a spoon. Cut the artichoke hearts into quarters and place in the lemon water.

4.

Chop dill, except for a few tips for garnish.

5.

Steam the vegetables together in a steamer about 8-10 minutes. Remove and mix in a bowl with lemon juice and oil. Season with salt and add dill. Arrange on plates and garnish with dill.

6.

Serve with flatbread as desired.
