Nutritional values

Frozen peas are frozen directly after harvesting and thus still contain almost all valuable ingredients such as calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and B vitamins. The spicy cheddar cheese provides a concentrated load of calcium, which is essential for strong bones and teeth.

Of course, the spicy dish tastes good at Christmas, dressed as a reindeer, but also all year round. Then, of course, you can omit the decoration if you wish.

Preparation steps

1.

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and rub dry, brush with 1 tablespoon of oil, salt, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and cook in a preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for 30 minutes. At the same time grate Cheddar cheese.

2.

Remove potatoes from oven, cut off one lid at a time (use elsewhere). Sprinkle potatoes with cheddar and finish cooking in the oven in another 5 minutes so that the cheese is melted.

3.

Meanwhile, sauté peas in remaining hot oil for about 3 minutes over medium heat in a small saucepan. Season with salt, lemon juice and pepper, divide among plates and place 1 potato on each. Press 2 spiral noodles into the cheese as antlers, place eyes of peas on top and attach 1 tomato as nose on each.
