- 1 Tbsp Wasabi paste
- 2 Tbsps water
- 14 ozs Tuna (cut into 8 sticks)
- salt
- peppers
- 3 Tbsps finely chopped cilantro
- 3 Tbsps finely, chopped parsley
- 8 sheets Spring roll dough sheet
- 1 egg yolk (beaten)
- Oil (for deep frying)
- For the dip
- 0.333 cup Lime juice
- 0.333 cup light soy sauce
Preparation steps
1.
Mix the wasabi paste with 1 tablespoon water. Season the tuna sticks with salt and pepper.
2.
Brush the tuna sticks with the wasabi and roll in the chopped herbs.
3.
Lay one fish stick on each sheet of spring roll pastry.
4.
Whisk the egg yolk with the remaining water and brush the edges of the pastry and roll up.
5.
Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the rolls in batches for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
6.
For the dip: mix the lime juice and soy sauce and serve with the tuna rolls.
