Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, peel and cut rhubarb into 3 cm long (approximately 1 inch long) pieces. Reserve rhubarb peelings.

2.

In a pot, combine rhubarb peelings with white wine, cinnamon stick and 2-3 tablespoons sugar. Simmer over low heat about 10 minutes.
