500 grams Strawberries
16 Ladyfinger
2 eggs
4 Tbsps Marsala wine
2 Tbsps sugar (heaping)
1 Vanilla bean
mint (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Wash, hull and halve strawberries.

2.

Place four ladyfingers in each of four small bowls. Divide strawberries over ladyfingers.

3.

Whisk eggs, Marsala and sugar in a metal bowl or saucepan. Split vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a sharp knife. Stir into egg mixture. 

4.

Place bowl over a pan of hot water and whisk until mixture is thick and creamy. Pour warm sauce over strawberries and garnish with mint.
