- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 600 grams lamb
- 1 can (500 grams) chickpeas
- 1 large can peeled Tomato
- fresh Sage
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- Chili powder

Preparation steps
1.
Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. In a Dutch oven, cook lamb in hot oil until browned.

Add onion and garlic sauté briefly. Cover and simmer over low heat, about 30 minutes.
3.
Drain chickpeas and add to pot along with canned tomatoes and sage. Simmer about 10-15 minutes. Season generously with salt, pepper and chili powder.
